Rich Reads and Reviews Toad Road

My friend Rich, (premed2 on YouTube) had this to say about Toad Road:

Adam Lore’s work is like a mine field.
Some of it is brilliant, and some of it is explosively stupid.
I noticed a preoccupation with excretory functions
and inappropriate objects of affection.

His drawings are first rate.

Here is Rich’s assessment of the strips so far -

“The Cactus Song” - weird but flavorful

“Clouds” - cute

“Bird Love” - explosively stupid

“Diggin’ For Dino Bones” - Brilliant (I love this one, but the line between brilliant and explosively stupid is very narrow. Also, it saddens me that they called it ‘Bupkus’. So unfair)

“Lamp of Love” - cute

“An Apple a Day” - explosively stupid

“Scrub Those Dishes” - explosively stupid

“Don’t Jump” - explosively stupid

“Fries with That” - explosively stupid

“A Real Time Machine” - great drawings

“The Man Who Married a Cactus” - explosively stupid

“Heroic Man Vs. The Giant Squid” - explosively stupid

“Oh, Baby!” -explosively stupid

“Lawn Care” - cute

“To Pee or Not to Pee” - brilliant

“The Stars” - cute

“Semantic Satiation” - brilliant

Well, that’s how it seems to me.

Thanks, Rich. And I hope you will forgive me for re-formatting the comment to make it look more official than it originally was.
